DR SHANTANU PANIGRAHI’S CONCEPTION OF VISHISTA ADVAITA

(SUBMITTED TO ELECTORAL REGISTRATION (UNITED KINGDOM): 3 DECEMBER 2025)

My aim was to produce a concise documentation of the evidence, assessments and present developments in connection with the evolution that has been underway in the United Kingdom since I founded the ethos and principles of a tentative Society that I named, The Conservative Libertarian Society (TCLS) at https://theconservativelibertariansociety.com

As the name indicates, TCLS combines the principle that human beings were born to be individualistic and liberated, yet out of necessity there is a fundamental principle of having to live to cooperation and a brand of socialism that leads to efficiency of resource utilisation in diverse production fields of agricultural and industrial systems so the question was how could the TCLS develop into a institutional frame work that would marry together these two necessities.

Through the yoga of the Founder over a period of 27 years, he realised that humans in relation to biodiversity were not alone in the universe; that there were higher powers with whom humanity was biologically well-placed to connect and even more importantly obtain ideas and advice on how to formulate the TCLS into a viable society that would bring together all of humanity yet people could remain distinct and prosper in unison.

Through these studies the Founder of TCLS saw that the universe was a single interconnected entity and it had a Supreme Godhead with male and female attributes of Sri Krishna-Durga so he combined God under this single name. The Ultimate Reality of the Universe was Truth and its manifestation was as Brahma-Nature consisting of sattvic, rajasic and tamasic gunas which in totality was represented as Brahman (Self). Human beings were therefore subordinate biological beings and to be regarded as materialism would have it as 'self'. There was also Consciousness with its manifestation being the mind and its nuances.

Yoga taught the Founder that by detaching the mind from the self, one could attain a higher realm of personal existence as the Supermind and thence the atman once one had lost all attachments of wishes, plans, objectives, missions, anticipations, expectations, strategies, tactics, desires and ego. At this point the atman became the Self or Brahman itself and the sadhaka could operate in day to day business spontaneously,   nonchalantly, instantly and unpremeditatedly every moment of the day. This is what Brahmavid Brahmaiva Bhavati or he who knows Brahma verily becomes Brahma shloka means in real life.

The Party will campaign for a Dharma-Rashtras based on Vishista Advaitic principles of morality politics, that would incorporate truth, justice for ordinary citizens, equality, democracy, transparency to tackle corruption in high and low positions of power, and tolerance of all people and biodiversity on the basis of its belief that God resides in the psyche of all living creatures so that discrimination and violence is wrong (himsa). This is based on the Sanskrit shloka: अहिंसा परमो धर्मः धर्म हिंसा तथैव च  --- धर्म एव हतो हन्ति धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः. This full version ahimsa parmo dharm:, dharm: himsa tathai vacha, dharma evo hato hanti, dharma rakshati rakshita generally accepted means non-violence meaning that non-violence is the ultimate dharma. So too is violence in service of Dharma in physical attributes and in words and deeds as being the highest dharma (duties and righteous actions) but to fight a dharmayudha to protect dharma is the supreme way to live. Those who preserve dharma through such engagement are in turn protected by Dharma as the universal cosmic law of Rta.

The Mission Team will promulgate the principles of Green Socialism (discussed here: https://www.theconservativelibertariansociety.com/forum/tclp-uk-proceedings/why-governments-should-not-be-so-manic-about-growth) with an entrepreneurial spirit that works to the perception of karma in sanatan dharma, that is to say the actions that align with the universal cosmic order known as Rta in Vedic times.

In terms of the needs of the Society that the TCLS eventually realised, the focus on Conservation and Preservation of the planet Earth had to go together with the Conservation and Preservation of the Universe for these were interconnected through Rta, the cosmic goddess of the law of the universe that keeps the universe balanced and in harmony. When humans inflict wanton damages to the natural environment the harmony and balance of the universe is badly affected, and leads to a situation of impending doom for the planet and outside the planet Earth.

The libertarian element of the TCLS is part of the reincarnation of the soul (self/iva) and takes place through a karmic ladder that all biodiversity must get through to finally reach the peak of liberation whereupon after death he/she enters Heavenly abode to be under the Lotus feet of Sri Krishna-Durga. This is the purpose of Creation in a Grand Design.

To ascend up the Karmic Ladder, one has to be conscious of Rtam-Righteousness of not just morality but the accommodation into the Reality of the universe to be at one with the Ultimate Reality of the Brahman.
